You can register a domain name for just 5,500 JPY a year. You can choose from any available .com, .net, .biz, .info, .us, or .org domains. Other domains such as .jp and .co.jp are also available; please contact us about the costs.
When you first get connected to the Internet, your service provider (ISP) will typically assign you a free email address such as ○○@○○.○○.ne.jp and this can be used without any further cost. It is free and easy, and worth about as much as you paid for it. It isn’t just cheap, it also looks cheap, and is totally unsuitable for business use. Furthermore, if you should ever decide to change your ISP, or if that company should stop providing Internet connection services, you will no longer be able to use the email address. These free addresses also tend to receive a great amount of spam (unwanted email).
